After finishing a minor in History at Ottawa University, I Joined my father’s company part time in 1991.  From 1995 to 2005 I built up the wholesale business in our company through  Canada while working to obtain a minor at the HEC of Montreal.  In August of 2005, Genesis joined Puresource Inc. to help grow the business.    Since this time, Genesis Food has seen great success. I really enjoy my work and each day is a new challenge.

I have been with Genesis Food since 2005 and I am in charge of day to day operations making sure that things runs smoothly in between departments and that all customers are fully satisfied with their demands on every order.  I have obtained a management degree in 1995 and I have  been working in the health food industry since then, going from procurement, sales, inventory control, production operations and quality control. My objective here is to bring all my experience to be profitable for everyone at Genesis Food and to every customer.

Certification of Genesis products


I started working  at Genesis Food in November of 2007.  I have various roles at Genesis Food, but am primarily responsible for the Organic and Kosher certification of Genesis products.  In addition, I also take care of the documentation for export of our products overseas, labelling, invoicing and transaction certificates.  I am looking forward to continuing to contribute to the future growth of Genesis Food and service the needs of our customers.

Quality Assurance Analyst


After completing my BSc. and MSc. Degrees in Microbiology and Toxicology, I joined Genesis Food in  May of 2012 and am responsible for the quality assurance of our products.  My responsibilities include obtaining necessary product documentation from our suppliers, preparing specification sheets and certificates of analysis, organoleptic assessment, review of laboratory analyses and handling customer document requests and complaints. I am looking forward to working with our customers and suppliers towards the goal of further enhancing our quality program in the future.

Moez Saidi


I joined Genesis Food November 2018, my job is to ensure quality control of food products at reception, shipping and storage, to be sure that all our products are compliant with our quality standards and specifications. To ensure that our operations respect good manufacturing and hygiene practices, and the prevention of cross-contamination. I have a university degree in the food industry from the Higher Institute of Food Industries in Tunis, Tunisia, and I have more than 15 years’ experience in quality management. I am very happy to join the Genesis Food team and work well to achieve our goals.

I am a dedicated customer service-oriented professional, coupled with 15+ years of experience working at an international organization.

As of September 2017 it is with pleasure that I put use my overall acquired skills to use here at Genesis. I enjoy servicing and meeting the customer’s needs ex: processing orders, documentation requests, coordinating transportation, produce and issue invoices, help with Invoice issues and discrepancies etc.
